Students of Sai Mahavidyalaya Sector-6, Bhilai celebrated Hareli Tihar
On the occasion of Hareli Tihar, Gedi Race Competition and Chhattisgarhi Cuisine Competition were organized by the Computer Science Department of Sai College Sector-6, Bhilai. Hareli Tihar is the first festival of Chhattisgarh, which introduces people to the culture and faith of Chhattisgarh. The students of Sai College participated enthusiastically in this competition. On this occasion, Gedi Race Competition was started by the Principal of the college. He addressed the students and gave importance of Gedi game and Chhattisgarhi cuisine to the students. The judge of the competition were Deputy Director of the college, Dr. Mamta Singh and Principal Dr. D. B. Tiwari. In the Gedi dance competition, Hussain Patre B.Sc.-3 year got the first position and in the Chhattisgarhi cuisine competition, many types of Chhattisgarhi dishes were prepared like Cheela, Phara, Chausela, Gulgule Bhajiya, Airsa, Murku etc. Exhibitions were made by the students. 5 teams participated in this competition, all the team names were related to the civilization of Chhattisgarh like Tor Mor Chausela Chutney, Chhattisgarh Khai Khazana, Garh Kaleva etc. In which Tor Mor Chausela Chutney team was the winner in which 4 members Rupali, Lumanshu Bansod, Disha, Swati Pandey wre students of B.Sc Part-3 Biotech. Deputy Director, Dr. Mamta Singh and Principal Dr. D B Tiwari congratulated the winning team and all the students and professors for maintaining the culture and faith of Chhattisgarh.
साँई महाविद्यालय सेक्टर-6 , भिलाई के छात्रों ने मनाया हरेली तिहार
साँई महाविद्यालय सेक्टर-6 , भिलाई के कंप्यूटर साइंस विभाग के द्वारा हरेली तिहार के अवसर पर गेड़ी खेल एवं छत्तीसगढ़ी व्यंजन प्रतिस्पर्धा का आयोजन किया गया। हरेली तिहार छत्तीसगढ़ का सबसे प्रथम त्यौहार है, जो लोगों को छत्तीसगढ़ की संस्कृति और आस्था से परिचित कराता है, इस स्पर्धा में साई कॉलेज के छात्र छात्राओं ने बढ़ चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया। इस अवसर पर महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य के द्वारा गेड़ी चढ़ कर गेड़ी खेल प्रतिस्पर्धाओ का प्रारम्भ किया गया , छात्रों को सबोधित करते हुए छात्रों को गेड़ी खेल की महत्त्व एवं छत्तीसगढ़ी व्यंजनों की जमकारी दी। स्पर्धा के निर्णायक महाविद्यालय की डिप्टी डायरेक्टर ,डॉ. ममता सिंह एवं प्राचार्य डॉ. डी. बी तिवारी रहे। गेड़ी नृत्य स्पर्धा में हुसैन पात्रे बी एस सी तृतीया वर्ष को प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त हुआ| छत्तीसगढ़ी व्यंजन स्पर्धा में अनेक प्रकार के छत्तीसगढ़ी व्यंजन जैसे चीला , फरा, चौसेला , गुलगुले भजिया , अइरसा , मुरकु इत्यादि छात्रों के द्वारा बना कर प्रदर्शनी लगाए गए। इस स्पर्धा में 5 टीम ने भाग लिया , सभी टीम के नाम छत्तीसगढ़ की सभ्यता से सम्बंधित थे जैसे तोर मोर चौसेला चटनी ,छत्तीसगढ़ खाई खजाना , गढ़ कलेवा आदि थे ,जिसमे तोर मोर चौसेला चटनी टीम विजेता रहे जिसमे 4 सदस्य रुपाली , लुमान्शु बंसोड़, दिशा, स्वाति पांडेय बी एस सी भाग -3 बायोटेक के छात्र थे। डिप्टी डायरेक्टर ,डॉ. ममता सिंह एवं प्राचार्य डॉ. डी. बी तिवारी ने विजेता टीम को बधाई दी और छत्तीसगढ़ की संस्कृति और आस्था को बनाए रखने के लिए सभी छात्रों एवं प्राध्यापकों का अभिनन्दन किया।
