Grievance Redressal Cell

According to the UGCRegulations 2018,The Grievance Redressal Cell has been constituted in thecollege to deal with all types of grievances, complaints and malpractices witha view to “the right to be heard and right to be treated without bias.”The Grievance Redressal Cell of the college was constituted in 2022 to probeinto the student grievances.

It redresses the grievances at departmental level and grievancesof common interest. The Cell maintains a conducive and unprejudiced educationalenvironment. Complaints of students and parents are redressed as soon as theyare received. Depending on the seriousness of the problem, the issues aresettled by the Cell or by the Principal in consultation with other members ofthe management, parents and faculty. The Grievance Redressal Cell has beendeveloped to settle the grievances of the students and other stakeholderswithin a reasonable time period for strengthening the bond of the students withthe institution by providing them with all kind of facilities to a satisfactorylevel for maintaining a convenient ambience of academic teaching and learning.Allcomplaints are scrutinized by the Grievance Redressal Cell and the resolutionsare recorded.The effective complaint management mechanism improves betterstakeholder relationship and contentment.The collective efforts of themanagement, department heads, class teachers, various staff coordinators ofclubs and associations and the Grievance Redressal Cell resolve the complaintspromptly and efficiently.   

Objectives:

·       GRC provides platform to all the students for their grievances

·       Identify the weaknesses and address them in a positive andstructured manner

·       Bridging the gap between college management, teachers andstudents

·       To help students to record their complaints related toacademics, resources and personal grievances freely and frankly without anyfear of victimization

·       To make officials of the college responsive, accountable andcourteous in dealing with the students
